Invivo Essential Fractionated Coconut Oil Review #invivoessential

I have heard of coconut oil & seen it in the grocery store but I was not familiar with fractionated coconut oil. Once I knew that I was going to test & review this Invivo Essential Fractionated Coconut Oil, I got busy & did some research on this product.

I found out that "fractionated" means that it is a fraction of the full spectrum of the natural oil. This product is highly stable as a result of the refining distillation process with a nearly indefinite shelf life. It will remain liquid, even at room temperature & will not go rancid over time. This is the perfect carrier oil for all of your essential oils.

This oil comes in a 16 fluid ounce brown plastic bottle. It is a colorless & odorless oil. I have used it as a moisturizer straight out of the bottle. It absorbs nicely & doesn't leave an oily feeling on my skin. It's also a great makeup remover! It takes off mascara easily & my face feels soft & smooth after I use it.

I've used it on the dry skin on my feet & legs with good results. I have a strange dry patch just above my ankle on one leg & nothing else I have tried has helped. But finally it's becoming smooth & soft! I also use it on my hands, especially my cuticles.

Some of my favorite things to do with this oil is to make DIY beauty products. This Lemon Sugar Scrub is one of my favorites. I start with 1/2 cup of sugar & add 1/4 cup of coconut oil. Then I mix in 12 - 15 drops of Lemon Essential Oil. If it's too dry, just add more oil. If it's too liquid, add a bit more sugar. It feels good on my skin when I exfoliate with this scrub & it smells great! But be careful when you add citrus to a scrub. It smells good & the scent makes me feel energized & refreshed, but citrus can burn your eyes so do NOT use this on your face.

You can use the same recipe but substitute Peppermint Essential Oil & it makes a really nice foot scrub that smells amazing! But be careful if you use either of these in the tub or shower because the oil will make it really slippery.

Put some of this oil in a diffuser with your favorite scent for aroma therapy, use it as a wonderful massage oil, for oil pulling, to make wonderful hand creams, body butters & lotions....so many possibilities!

So. Here is what I think about Invivo Essential Fractionated Coconut Oil: I'm so glad that I got the chance to learn about carrier oils. I like the size of this bottle, it will last quite a while. I like that I can use this as a moisturizer straight from the bottle but it doesn't make my skin feel greasy or oily. I like that I can use this to make so many DIY beauty products.

And I really like that it is safe & gentle enough for the whole family, even infants!

So. Bottom line. Use this wonderful oil alone as a moisturizer, to dilute essential oils, for your hair, or as a wonderful massage oil with your special someone. You'll find so many uses! And it is backed with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee!
