These headphones are designed specifically for kids. They come in several bright colors: blue, pink, purple, green, red, black & turquoise. I got the turquoise set & I love the color. The attached cable is almost 4 feet long & the padded earphones are clearly labeled "L" & "R". The headband is adjustable for an additional 1.5" on each side so that it can fit comfortably & snugly on your ears. I wasn't expecting a headphone designed for kids to sound very good but I put the headphones on myself to check them out & was very impressed with the sound!

Product Review: Kendama Japanese Toy #KendamaLTD

I had never heard of Kendama but my son seemed to know all about it. He couldn't wait for it to arrive so he could show me what it is all about.

Kendama is a traditional Japanese toy. The idea is to toss the ball which is attached to a string & try to land it in one of the cups or on the spike. There is a cup on each side of the main piece & one on the end. They are all different sizes. I've played with paddle balls so I thought that I would probably be pretty good at this game. Nope! This is so much harder than it looks!

I cannot even count the number of times that I've tossed this little ball & tried to land it on a cup. I played with it for most of one afternoon before I finally landed it in the biggest cup. I haven't been able to land it in the smaller cups or on the spike. But it's really addicting & I just keep on trying! My son is pretty good at it. He has been able to land it in all 3 of the cups, but not on the spike yet. I can imagine that this toy would keep kids busy for hours. It certainly has kept the adults in my house entertained!

This toy can be enjoyed by anyone. It doesn't matter if you are left-handed or right-handed, young or not-so-young. It is made of solid beech wood so it is very sturdy & durable. Even after hours of playing, none of the bright paint has chipped at all. But just in case the string breaks, it comes with an extra string, bead & threading tool.

Warmer weather is coming! Sun'n'Fun Broad Spectrum SPF30 Sunscreen for Kids Review #sweetsationtherapy

Now that Spring has officially arrived & the weather is starting to get warmer, we will be spending a lot more time outdoors. This means a lot more time in the sun. And even if it's a cloudy day, we still need to be protected with a good sunscreen. But getting kids to want to stand still long enough to apply sunscreen can sometimes be frustrating, so I was very interested to try this Fun'n'Sun Broad Spectrum SPF30 Sunscreen for Kids.

There are a lot of sunscreens on the market right now that are specifically for children. But just check out some of the wonderful ingredients in this one: Organic Marshmallow, Grapeseed & Raspberry are rich in Vitamin C & antioxidants to fight skin damage; Green Tea for neutralizing free radicals; Kelp & Cucumber are highly moisturizing, soothing & hydrating; Rosehip Oil promotes healing & nourishes skin; Tamanu Oil has high anti-inflammatory properties & helps with dry skin & eczema; and a combination of Cocoa (yes!) & a hint of vanilla create the wonderful CHOCOLATE scent. Yep! Chocolate!!

When I opened the top of the tube, I could smell the chocolate scent. Now, this is supposed to be for kids but I admit that this is a sunscreen that I will use too! It is a light brown color when it comes out of the tube but, once it is applied to the skin, it disappears & doesn't leave that white film like some sunscreen products. It doesn't feel greasy after it is absorbed, just soft & dry. It doesn't take a lot of this sunscreen so be careful how much you squeeze out because a little bit does go a long way.

We have not yet had a chance to test this sunscreen after swimming because it's not warm enough for a trip to the lake yet. But the tube indicates that it is water-resistant for 80 minutes which means that it should be reapplied after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating or immediately after towel drying.

So. Here is what I think about Sun'n'Fun Broad Spectrum SPF30 Sunscreen for Kids: Why didn't someone think to make sunscreen smell like chocolate a long time ago?? It's such a good idea to make kids WANT to wear their sunscreen all the time! I like that this product contains so many natural ingredients. I like that this sunscreen is safe for even the youngest skin.

And I like products like this one that are Made in the U.S.A.!

So. Here is what I think about....Monster High Freaky Fusion Recharge Chamber

I was so happy to receive Frankie Stein & the Monster High Freaky Fusion Recharge Chamber a couple of months ago to review. The box arrived & I opened it to check out what was included.

The box contained the Monster High Recharge Chamber with the Frankie Stein doll, the Monster High Freaky Fusion DVD & 3 AA batteries. I always appreciate when a company includes the batteries needed to operate the product.

My granddaughter loves Monster High dolls, so I knew that she would be the perfect person to test this for me. I gave it to her for her birthday & she was so excited to receive it. She ripped off the wrapping paper & immediately opened the box to get everything set up so that she could play with it.

The toy was a bit difficult to remove from  the box but once we got it all put together it was non-stop action!  She loves watching Frankie's hair stand up with static electricity & then she brushes & styles it back into shape before she shocks her again.

She watches the DVD that came with this toy & acts out the scenes with her friends or they make up their own. This toy has really "sparked" their imaginations! And her little brother has even been trying to join in the action.

She really loves this toy & it is a great addition to her collection of Monster High dolls.

So. Here is what I think about Monster High Freaky Fusion Recharge Chamber: It is a really fun toy at a reasonable price. Several of my granddaughter's friends are begging their moms to buy one for them. So far it is still played with every week & she's had the toy for abut 8 weeks.
