These Decimate Safety Earmuffs are designed to filter high frequency noises like you would experience in a machine shop or workshop. The ear cups are padded so they fit completely around your ears. At first I thought they were a bit tight but I was able to adjust them to a comfortable position & then had no problem wearing them.

All About That Bass with these FSL AI13 Heavy Bass Earbuds #HeavyBassEarbuds

I've tried a few different sets of earbuds but none that were made specifically for those of us who like a listen to more bass. These FSL AI13 Heavy Bass Earbuds are just for that!

This earbud set comes with the earbuds, two extra sets of tips & a drawstring carry case. The earbuds come with medium silicone tips already attached but you can easily switch to either the larger or smaller set that are included. The earbuds have a nice long flat cable so it won't tangle like the round cables & the right-angled jack sits more flush to whatever device you are listening with & doesn't pull out as easily. These earbuds do not let outside noises distract from your listening.

When I used these earbuds the first time I thought that they weren't really much different than the other sets that I have. Then I changed the medium tips for the smaller tips & that made a big difference for me. With the smaller tips, I could fit the earbuds more tightly into my ears & that is all it took for the bass sound to come through better. I've used these earbuds with my laptop, tablet & phone with good results from each. I don't listen to some types of music that have a lot more bass like rap or hip hop & I don't want the bass to blow out my eardrums, but I do like to hear it a bit more than the treble. Some of my favorite bands, like ZZ Top, sound great with the bass turned up!

I don't go to the Shooting Range & I'm not a hunter, but I have family members who love to do both. And for those times that they are shooting targets on the acreage behind my son's house, I want to have something to protect my ears so that I don't have to watch from so far away. This FSL Patriot Electronic Earmuff for Shooting lets me stay close to the action.

This earmuff comes with the 2 AA batteries that it needs to operate plus a sheet of instructions. The battery compartment is easy to get to & doesn't require a screwdriver to open. Once the batteries were installed, I tried on the earmuff. It fits my head nicely & the padding is comfortable on my ears. The information sheet indicates that the earmuff can be used for 30 continuous hours but I definitely did not wear them anywhere near that long. I only wore them for about an hour at a time but my brother is an avid deer hunter & I'll be he's worn ear protection for at least 12 hours or more!

This earmuff did give me good ear protection during target shooting (we were outdoors, not at an indoor shooting range) while still allowing me to hear conversations that were going on around me. It seems to be durable & well made so my son will be using it when deer season opens later this fall.

At times, my husband & I both need to use a timer. We have a timer on our stove & we have a timer on our microwave. The stove is the preferred timer because if you don't go turn it off after it buzzes, it will continue to buzz every 30 seconds until you do. The timer on the microwave makes one little buzz & that's it. But now we have the Epica Large Digit Timer and the Epica Large Digit Timer/Stopwatch so we no longer have to rely on our kitchen appliances.

The Epica Large Digit Timer is white with gray sides. It runs on 1 AAA battery which is included in the box. It also comes with a sheet of Operating Instructions. This timer is easy to set to a specific time (up to 99 minutes, 59 seconds) & then push the Start button to count down to zero. And when the alarm sounds, I can hear it from any room in my house! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to hear it if I wasn't in the same room, but it is quite loud. You can also start at zero & push the Start button to act as a stopwatch then push the button again to stop it. The display is large & easy to read & you can set up this timer just about anywhere you need it. It has a fold-out stand, a magnet & a hanging hook. I use this timer just about every day.

The Epica Large Digit Timer/Stopwatch is silver with a black back. It also runs on 1 AAA battery which is included in the box. It also comes with a sheet of Operating Instructions. This time operates the same as the other timer but it has smaller buttons. It also has a loud alarm so I never have to worry that I won't hear it. It also has a large, easy to read display & has a maximum reading of 99 minutes, 59 seconds. This timer also has a fold-out stand & a magnet on the back so that you can use it on multiple surfaces. My husband uses this timer in his backyard work shed & it is attached to the side of a metal cabinet where he can easily see it.

Product Review: FSL Xylem Wood Earbuds #FSLXylem

We have several sets of earbuds at our house but I've never seen anything like these! I love the wooden earpieces on the FSL Xylem Wood Earbuds.

These earbuds come with a storage pouch & instructions for using the remote button but I did not receive a set of replacement rubber tips like so many others who have left reviews on the Amazon page. I can live with that but if I'm supposed to get them, then I want them! I love the wooden look of these earbuds that is so much nicer than my other sets that are just black plastic. The earbuds work great with my laptop & my tablet. The sound that I get is really good & I hear the bass better as is advertised. But they don't work at all with my Android phone & they pull out of my ears with the slightest tugging on the wire.

For the price, this is a nice set of earbuds & the sound is really quite good so I do like them & will continue to use them with the devices that they are compatible with.

Product Review: BLOCKIT RFID Blocking Sleeves #BLOCKIT

We went on vacation to South Africa last fall & before we went we switched our debit & credit cards to the ones with the embedded chip so that our cards would work in that country. We protected our cards by always carrying them in an inner pocket of my big travel purse. It worked but it was kind of a pain in the butt to get to them. If we had these RFID Blocking Sleeves from BLOCKIT it would have been so much easier.

I don't really know how these sleeves work but they are designed to protect your privacy & secure your data from digital pickpockets. According to the company the blocking sleeves are made with 3 protective layers. The first layer is an aluminum layer to block 13.56MHz frequencies, the second is a copper substrate layer which blocks all 125kHz & then the outer layer of colorful glossy paper. All I know is that when I put my grocery store loyalty card in the sleeve & held it up to the scanner on the gas pump, it could not be read. So these work!

These blocking sleeves come in a variety of bright colorful designs. I chose the yellow floral top-loading sleeve & the blue floral side-loading sleeve. My cards slide in easily & I can take them back out just as easily. These are so much more attractive than some of the others that I've seen on the market. The only thing that I don't like about them is that they are a bit bulky & don't fit in the credit card slots in my husband's wallet.

Product Review: Super Bright 11 LED Hat Clip Light #rayburnfishing

The first time I saw one of these hat clip lights was when a friend of ours who delivers pizza at night bought one so his face would be somewhat illuminated when he rang doorbells at night. I remember thinking that was such a handy little gadget & wishing that I had one. But then I forgot about it until I received this Super Bright 11 LED Hat Clip Light.

This light runs on 3AAA batteries which are not included. The battery compartment is easy to open. I clipped the light onto the brim of a cap & tried it out. It is very lightweight so it doesn’t pull down on the cap & the on/off button is easy to operate. The light is very very bright & worked great when my husband had to go into our attic to replace some pipe insulation. The light held tight to the brim of his cap & didn’t slide around. It made it so easy to work with both hands & have the light directed exactly where he needed it.

This is now being stored in our camping backpack so we’ll have it ready when we go camping because we don’t tend to plan but a few hours in advance when we decide to go. It will be so handy around the campsite & especially for walking to the toilets/showers in the dark.

Sentey Kairos Pro Extra Thick Mousepad

Once I knew that I would be receiving this Kairos Pro Extra Thick Mousepad from Sentey to test & review, I started checking out the mousepads that are on the market these days. It's been a while since I bought a mousepad because I don't use a mouse with my laptop or my tablet. The old ones that I still have are quite small but I've seen that there is a lot of competition out there when it comes to high quality mousepads, especially those used for gaming.

When this mousepad arrived, I was quite impressed with the packaging. The black & red fitted box that it comes in is very nice & the inside is padded. It would be nice to give as a gift without even having to wrap it! The mousepad is 12.25" by 10" & is a bit large for my desk. It is advertised as "extra thick" but is only 1/4" thick while my really  old mousepads are a lot thicker than that so I guess that show show out of the loop I am when it comes to mousepads.

This is a very lightweight mousepad with a hard plastic PVC top & rubber non-slip base. My mouse really does zip right across it without any friction at all. The mousepad stays in place while I'm using it & is plenty big for a lot of mouse movement. I haven't experienced any problems with this mousepad so far but I did notice that the edges are not sealed so I hope that the plastic top never comes loose from the pad.

I don't use a mousepad very often & it is taking some getting used to for me to use one again so I'll probably pass this on to my sons or grandkids who can use it for gaming. I've checked the prices of gaming mousepads online & found that this one is really reasonably priced so it's a good value for your money.

I haven't used headphones in a lot of years & now this is the second set sent to me by Sentey to test & review. This time it is their FLOW Kids On-Ear Headphones Headset.

This blue & white headset is a simple sleek design & comes packaged with a detachable 3.5mm audio cable with an in-line control & omnidirectional microphone. If you use the headset with your smartphone & it supports in-line control, just press the button to to answer a call as well as pause your song. I don't use mine with my phone so I haven't tested this feature.

These headphones are made for kids so I have to adjust both sides so they will fit my head. The ear pads are comfortable to wear but the headset has thin padding so it hurts my head after wearing them for a while. The sound quality is better than I had expected. They don't keep me from hearing outside noises but it's not too bad so I'm happy with these headphones. They fold for storage & can easily be carried in your backpack or travel bag so you can listen to music wherever you go. But they will definitely be more comfortable for a child so I'll probably hand these off to my grandkids to use.

Sentey CURVE On-Ear Headphones Review

It's been such a long time since I've had a pair of actual headphones. We've got a lot of ear buds somewhere in the house, but no headphones that you actually wear on your head. And since the Sentey Curve On-Ear Headphones are advertised as "headphones for kids", I honestly wasn't expecting very good sound quality.

When the headphones arrived, I unpacked them so I could try them out. They are very lightweight & comfortable to wear. They are for kids so I didn't expect them to fit on my head but when I extend the ear pads they fit me perfectly. The headset is padded & the ear pads are soft. The 3.5mm audio cable is braided & is sturdy yet flexible. It even has a gold-plated plug!

The in-line microphone works really well when I'm using these headphones to listen to music on my Samsung tablet. If you use them with your smartphone, you can press the button to answer calls & play/pause a song if your device supports in-line control with music. I haven't tried this with our phone yet because I usually just listen on my tablet or laptop. The sound quality is just fine for me. The headphones don't keep all of the outside noise out, but it's not distracting me from the music when I'm listening.

Sentey B-Trek S2 Black Bluetooth Speaker

I'm reviewing another product that I received from Sentey. This one is their B-Trek S2 Bluetooth Speaker. I've never used a bluetooth speaker before so I wasn't really sure what to expect.

When I took the speaker out of the box the first thing that I thought was "how cute!". It looks just like a little bitty speaker. But how good will the sound be coming from something that small? Actually, pretty good! It quickly synced to my Samsung Tablet with no problems & it already had a charge because I started listening to it immediately. I really was surprised that the sound is good & is more than loud enough for me.

In the box are the speaker, a 3.5mm audio cable, a microUSB cable that is used for charging as well as the internal antenna for FM radio reception, a wrist strap & a User Manual. After using the speaker for several hours the first time I tried it, I let it charge overnight & it was ready to go again the next morning. It is advertised to have up to 6 hours of battery on a single charge. I can't say whether it does or not because I've never listened to it for 6 hours straight. And when I listen to it off & on, I can't remember how long it was to see if it added up to 6 hours or not.

The only downside to this cute little speaker is that the sound quality is not great. But I didn't really even expect it to be as good as it is so I'm more than happy with this little guy. If I want great sound quality, I'll listen to our home stereo system. This is what I'll take with me when I'm at the park or camping or at the lake. It will give me good sounds to listen to & that's all I want.

Sentey 4-Port White USB Wall Charger Review

This is the first of several products that I have received recently from Sentey to test & review. I have several wall chargers & portable chargers but, when there are a lot of devices that need to be charged, I can always use another one. This is the 4-Port White USB Wall Charger .

This charger plugs directly into an electric outlet & has 4 USB smart ports. Two of them are 1.0 USB ports & the other two are 2.0 USB ports. We have used this to charge our Samsung phone, tablet & camera plus our portable chargers that we take with us when we leave the house. We use the cords that came with each device & have not had any problems. Once the devices have a full battery, the charging stops automatically so that I don't have to worry about overheating or wasting electricity.

This wall charger also comes with a black drawstring storage bag. I see on the Amazon description that the AC prongs flip down for travel, but they do not. It would be easier to store the charger in the storage bag if the prongs did flip down, but with a bit of work I can get it in there. It is definitely something that will be in our suitcases when we do travel so that we can keep all of our devices charged & ready.
