Product Review: Baltic Amber Teething Necklace #balticamber

I'm always interested in homeopathic or alternatives to traditional medicines so I was looking forward to receiving this Baltic Amber Teething Necklace so I could see it for myself.

The teething necklace came in a really cute drawstring cloth bag with the Baltic Wonder logo on the front. It also came with a Certificate of Authenticity which states "We guarantee that our products are made of 100% Baltic Amber with Succinic Acid and use the highest quality on the market, safe for use on infants". Baltic Amber is supposed to have analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties to boost the immune system & promote fast healing. I've read that wearing the Baltic Amber against your warm skin releases miniscule amounts of healing oils from the amber which are then absorbed through the skin & into the bloodstream. I've also read that the amber is electromagnetically alive & produced significant amounts of organic, purely natural energy.

I gave this teething necklace to a young friend who has a baby that is teething. She put the necklace around her daughter's neck & it looked really cute. The baby wore the necklace every day for a couple of weeks, except at night. When I asked if the necklace seemed to be helping, I was told that it is a really cute accessory but didn't really seem to be helping with the teething pain. So now I have the necklace back & I'm wearing it as a bracelet.

So I can't say that this teething necklace will relieve your baby's pain or stop them from fidgeting & fussing, but I can say that this necklace is well made. The beads are individually tied so if the necklace were to break, the beads would not come loose & be a choking hazard. The closure screws together & is not noticeable so doesn't distract from the look of the necklace.

Just because the baby that tested this necklace for me didn't get much relief doesn't mean that it won't work for you. Every baby is different & you may have better results.

I had never heard of Baby First TV because it was not around when my boys were little. But I have grandkids now so I've become familiar with Bonnie Bear & her listening game. So getting the chance to have a Bonnie Bear Plush Toy in our home was pretty exciting!

When she arrived, my Mom Mode kicked in & I first checked her out for safety. I was very happy to see that she is very well made with nothing that will come loose to harm or choke your child. I've pulled & tugged on her arms, legs, ears, cute little apron, hair & the little propeller on top of her head. Everything is sewn on tight! Bonnie is 12" tall & totally adorable!

If you haven't seen Baby First TV, it is content for babies & toddlers through television, the internet & mobile apps that is intended to develop skills such as color recognition, counting & vocabulary. Their website is full of videos & games. Bonnie Bear is just one of many characters on Baby First. She & her best friend, Mr. Gramophone, play a listening game. Mr. Gramophone has 3 different sounds that Bonnie listens to, recognizes & then paints the object.

Bonnie is just the right size for little hands to hold & so plush & soft that she is a perfect napping or sleeping companion. She can be easily hand-cleaned.

Product Review: Teething Pendant #teethingpendant

My boys are grown but I remember the days when they were teething. Nothing seemed to help & they both chewed on every teething toy that I gave them. But I never had anything as cute or as functional as this Teething Pendant from Beabies.

I love the packaging of this teething pendant. It comes in a white mesh drawstring bag with white ribbons. There is a card with Care Instruction enclosed. I think this is important, especially for first time moms. I remember thinking that I knew everything when my first child was born but I quickly found out that I was WRONG! So before using the teething pendant, wash it in very hot water or in the top rack of your dishwasher & rinse it thoroughly. I mean, it's going to go in your baby's mouth!

This teal teether is 2" in diameter & the necklace is about 14" long. This durable silicone is flexible & easy for baby to chew on. You can also put this teether in the freezer for even more relief from teething pain. This teething pendant is such a good idea because Mom can wear it so that it is convenient for baby to grab instead of your other jewelry or hair. I wish this product had been around when my boys were babies. I got this for a friend whose first grandson was born a few months ago & is getting his first tooth. She is happy to have this because she doesn't want to use any teething gels.

Whether you've got a toddler in the house or not, this is a great little pillow! It is cuddly soft & so comfortable to lay your head on.
