This Maui 500-Piece Jigsaw Puzzle & Wall Calendar Bundle are so bright & colorful! #Dowdlefolkart

I love jigsaw puzzles! I always have. I love to put them together, take them apart & put them together again. And again. And again. So I couldn't wait for my 500-Piece Maui Jigsaw Puzzle and Wall Calendar Bundle to arrive!

When it arrived, I was very impressed with the packaging. The puzzle comes inside of a flip-top storage box that is covered in a map design with the company logo of the top. The box is inside of a colorful sleeve that has a photo of the puzzle artwork on the front & information about the artist, Eric Dowdle, on the back. It also comes with a small poster of the puzzle artwork because you will need something to reference while you're putting the puzzle together.

This bundle also comes with a 2016 wall calendar.  Each month shows a different piece of artwork & I found myself with a magnifying glass going over each one because there are so many little fun & unexpected details to discover. The calendar pages are 12"x13" & there is plenty of room to make notes on each day of the month.

Both the puzzle & the calendar are so bright & colorful. The puzzle pieces are sturdy & snap together easily. I was kind of sad when the puzzle was completed but I don't glue my puzzles together for display, so I will put it together over & over again.

Eric Dowdle is an amazing artist & seeing the artwork on the calendar makes me want to own every one of his puzzles!

Product Review: Old Factory Scented Candles #soycandles

One of my favorite ways to make my home feel welcoming & comfortable is using scents. I use different methods of delivering scent but candles have always been my favorites. I am very happy to share my review of these Old Factory Scented Candles with you.

These soy candles come packaged in a box that looks like a wooden crate with lettering that gives it an antique look. Each set comes with 3 theme-scented 4-ounce candles. The company states that each candle will burn for 25 - 30 hours but I haven't been keeping track of how long I've been burning each candle. These candles are made with natural soy wax & self-trimming cotton candle wicks.

I chose the Citrus Grove set which includes Lemongrass, Key Lime & Orange Zest scents. I love the way these candles smell! The fresh citrus scents really come through when I use them in our bedroom but they are not large enough to scent a larger room like our living/dining room.

There are so many scent sets to choose from that there is something for everyone so these would make great additions to a gift basket for a baby shower, bridal shower, birthday or anniversary. I know that all of my friends & family would love to receive a set!

Product Review: Santa Fe Art Supply Artist Brush Set #SantaFeArtSupplyArtistBrushSet

I am not an artist. I can't even draw a decent stick figure. But my husband has loved art since he was in middle school. He loves to draw & paint so I knew that he would really appreciate this Santa Fe Art Supply Artist Brush Set because he hasn't had any new brushes in ages.

This set comes in a black zippered pouch to keep all of the brushes organized. The pouch had an odd odor when I first unpacked it, but after a couple of days it had dissipated & now I don't notice it. There are 15 long wooden handled brushes plus an ergonomic short handled brush for fine touches. They all come individually packaged in plastic. There is a nice variety of sizes & shapes including round, flat, filbert, wide & fan. The bristles are so soft & are made of fine nylon quality synthetic hair.

After using these brushes several times, my husband has said that he has not had any problem with shedding. He likes the way the brushes feel in his hand & they deposit paint very smoothly. He really likes the internal stand that keeps the paint brushes upright & conveniently in reach. The brushes are very easy to clean & air dry. He loves this set & I think it has such a nice quality look to it.

Product Review: Homemade With Love Plaid Fruit Jam Labels #JamLabels

Receiving a handcrafted gift is so special because you know that someone took time to make something especially for you. I love receiving & giving homemade gifts but gifts from the kitchen are my favorite! These Plaid Fruit Jam Labels are such a perfect addition to a homemade gift of jam or jelly plus they are just so darned cute!

These Fruit Jam Labels are from icustomlabel.com & are just a few of the custom labels that they make. The set that I received came with 5 each for Peach Jelly, Grape Jelly & Strawberry Jelly. I love the plaid background design of these labels & I think they have a very vintage look. Since I've been buying a lot of fresh spring produce, I have been wanting to learn to make jams & jellies so these cute labels are what finally pushed me to actually get it done. And it's not as hard as I thought it would be!

These labels peel off of the backing very easily & stick tight to your jar without any air bubbles. They look really nice & I would be proud to give my homemade jelly as a gift with these labels attached.

So. Here is what I think about....Seeds of Love Greeting Cards (10 Packs) #seedsoflove

I am so happy that I was chosen to review these Seeds of Love Greeting Cards. I love sending & receiving cards. They are so much more personal than an email greeting on a holiday or special occasion. But let's face it. Eventually those cards end up in the trash & are forgotten about. But not these! When you send one of these cards, the recipient gets not a nice greeting or wish on their special day, but will also have a garden full of beautiful colorful flowers that will make them think of you every time they look at them!

I opened the box to look at the 10 cards/seed packets for 5 different occasion: 2 each for Happy Birthday, Thank You, Congratulations, I Love You, & Happy Holidays. The packets are so pretty & colorful. And the greeting on each looks like a gift tag. I'm going to enjoy giving these to my friends & family. But of course I'm going to keep a few for myself too!

Each card/seed packet contains a selection of non-GMO Organic flower seed mixes: Delphinium, Zinnia, Calendula, Celosia & Sunflower. There are instructions for planting & care on the back of each packet. 

I'd much rather receive one of these on my birthday or Valentine's Day than a bouquet of flower shop flowers. I can plant these in my garden & have a living reminder of the special day that will last, not something that will die within a week. I can't wait to plant some of these. Sunflowers are my favorite flower!

So. Here is what I think about Seeds of Love Greeting Cards: I think these are brilliant! When you give this card, you are actually giving two gifts in one. I like the greetings that look like gift tags. I like the colorful packets. I appreciate that the planting & care instructions are included.

And I love that these are non-GMO USDA Certified Organic seeds! 

So. Bottom line. The next time you want to send a greeting card, send a Seeds of Love greeting card instead. It's more than just a card & a garden full of colorful flowers will be a wonderful remembrance of a special occasion.
