First, I'll tell you about the Derma Roller. This product is designed to stimulate collagen production, reduce wrinkles, fine lines & cellulite, tighten & smooth your skin, reduce enlarged pores & improve the appearance of scars. I admit that this looked really scary to me. After I received it & opened the box, I set it aside because I needed time to talk myself into using it. After all....it's got needles!! But how was I going to know what it felt like or what it could do for my skin if I just looked at it? So I sucked it up, read the directions & got ready to give it a go.
I used it on my face & neck first, rolling it 10 times in 4 directions as described in the instructions. My skin did get red but it didn't really hurt at all. So then I used it on my upper thighs where I've got that dreaded cellulite. When I was finished with both areas, I applied a serum & after that had dried I applied moisturizer. My skin felt kind of tingly for a while but it wasn't a bad feeling. I actually look forward to using this roller now. It's kind of addictive!
So then I tried the Professional Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Serum. The Hyaluronic Acid in this product is for deep hydration of skin cells & plumps skin tissue to soften wrinkles & fine lines, while the Vitamin C stimulates collagen production & improves skin texture. This serum also contains Ferulic Acid which is a natural anti-oxidant. So this is a nice addition to my skincare regimen & is also what I apply after I have used my derma roller.
The serum comes in an amber dropper bottle. It looks cloudy & is thick, not watery, so it's easy to apply & a little bit goes a long way. I use this serum twice each day after I have washed my face & used a toner. I use it on my face & on my neck. It goes on smoothly & absorbs quickly with no sticky feeling. I'm not a huge fan of the scent but once it's on my face I don't notice it. It keeps my skin moisturized all day.
After using the serum, I apply the Revitalize Eye Serum. This serum is made with Sea Kelp, Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl 3000, Natural Active Peptides, Ferulic Acid & Vitamin C. All of these ingredients work in harmony with the other Petunia Skincare products.
The eye serum is a yellowish color with a subtle earthy scent which I love & it comes in a pump container. But go easy when you dispense it. A very little bit of this goes a very long way! It applies so smoothly & doesn't tug at the thin skin around my eye area. I use it on my eyelids as well as under my eyes twice each day. It's used after washing my face & applying serum. My skin feels really soft & smooth after I use this.
So. Here is what I think of these Petunia Skincare products that I have tried: I am in love with the Derma Roller! After getting over my initial fear, I've used it faithfully. I like the way these products work together to make my skin feel & look softer & smoother. I like that my skin does not look as dull as it did. Over time I hope to see the fine lines around my eyes diminish. And I like that these products are not tested on animals.
Be sure to rinse the Derma Roller in hot water before & after each use & clean it thoroughly after every 3 - 4 uses. The directions for cleaning are on the box. It is to be used exclusively by one person & should never be shared.
So. Bottom line. If you are looking for products that work well together to tighten, brighten & moisturize your skin, then these are what you should try. And you've got nothing to lose because all Petunia Skincare products come with a 90-day No Questions Asked 100% Money Back Guarantee!
